tip
Alcohol free beer is a lot like food that’s just lacking in salt.
There's only a couple I've liked, Guinness and San Miguel.

Ooh don’t do alcoholic Guinness, but I’ll give the San Miguel a go then!

Don't get the Nanny State non alcoholic craft beer as it really is awful.

I’m not a great fan of alcoholic craft beer though either 😂

Getting me to say, "Yup, worse than food w/o salt" is an accomplishment

No alcohol free beer (free alcohol beer is better) in my larder. But some people want the taste and don't want the alcohol, so to each their own.

To drink beer correctly... 1) It has to be very high in ALC..2) It mut be served at room temperature..3) It must be slowly drunk, such as a fortified wine...smile

0 outta 3 wabers, it doesnt have to be very high alc content, beer has to be served cold to drink and can be drunk as quick or as slow as one would like to enjoy freak tongue

Raven, what abv so you think is proper?
I have not tried over 9% alc but I think that the colored favoued water you can be served in Pubs is no good once it goes flat.

Last weekend I had a 14.3% stout.

It's bourbon barrel aged stout, it's a limited release that comes out once a year. It tasted pretty good, it wasn't bitter. I didn't drink the whole thing, I split it with someone.

Must have been most interesting interesting. It's not the quantity that counts, is the Quality thumbup1

Beer is chilled so you can't taste it properly. Would you eat a meal with your nose pinched off so you couldn't smell/taste it? Why drink beer you can't taste properly?
When it's over 36c degrees, if the beer isn't chilled to 0.1c degrees, I ain't drinking it. 🙂
